Treat these figures as indicative. Two different Spintel landing pages showed different intro pricing on the 25GB plan on the same day, one at $12 per month and one at $15, and a search listing advertised $14. Telco promo pricing changes often and can vary by entry point. Read the price on the page you are actually signing up through, and check the Critical Information Summary for the ongoing rate.

Is a Spintel mobile plan worth it?

The 25GB plan on intro pricing is cheap for a 5G-capable service, and there is no lock-in, so the downside of trying it is small. The catch is the step up to $23 per month after six months, which is where a lot of people stop paying attention and start overpaying.

Above that tier the value gets more ordinary. At $29 for 50GB and $35 for 100GB, Spintel sits in the same territory as several other Optus-network resellers, and the right answer depends on whether you actually use the data you are buying. Most people do not. Check your last three bills for actual usage before you buy a bigger bucket than you need.

Coverage is the other thing worth knowing. Spintel resells the Optus network, so wherever Optus is weak for you, Spintel will be weak in exactly the same way. If you have had Optus problems at home or at work before, that alone is a reason to look elsewhere.
